The institution has glorious history. The work of creating encyclopedias had been started by Mr.केतकर. Almost after a year on 8th July 1920 when The twins who were working on printing their Eveyclopadias expressed a desire to learn. For that they showed readiness to work all day and come at night to learn. This thought led to great discussion and the Night School started. The aim was not only to start night school but to focus on adult education, skill development, social service were taken into consideration. With all these aims Saraswati mandir Sanstha was founded on 1st Aug. 1920. As the news of death of Bal Gangadhar Tilak spread , the Sanstha closed down the work and actual work began from 2nd August, 1920 with the motto social transformation through dynamic education, affordable education to economically weaker section and to.provide education to the poor hardworking and underprivileged children.
